We have developed unique technologies of water treatment, sludge decantation and concentrated brine recovery after its demineralization.
A reverse osmosis system being a membrane unit is quite sensitive to quality of water to be treated. As soon as contaminated water contacting with membranes makes them out of order immediately. It often requires their replacement which expensive. As for large water demineralization plants (such as nuclear-powered plants), evaporating and condensate collection method is used there.
With this technology, inlet water purity is even more critical parameter. Our company is ready to undertake seawater pre-treatment part, prior to demineralization plants. Our technologies are based on automatic depth wash filters allowing hundreds of wash cycles without losing filtration quality; modular structure; do not require vertical mounting and they are of highest energy performance in its category.
As for the plants with high water consumption (over 100 m3/hour) module-type collector uncased units
are used, automatic ones as well, providing with continuous treated water supply to the demineralizer. These are fully automated systems. Cartridges are to be replaced at one of the units irrespective of the others; their replacement has no influence on their functioning and on the demineralizer operation.
As a rule, sludge decantation is carried out at belt-type machinery with significant weight-and-dimensional characteristics and requiring constant cleaning. Our offer is to use unique slot-type filters
for this purpose. Modular plants based on such filters are dramatically more efficient and more effective compared to belt-type plants. Filters are cleaned by usual backwashing not requiring dismantling and shutdown of the whole system unlike in case with analogous plants.
Concentrated brine recovery after its demineralization is one of the most difficult tasks in water treatment. Brine discharge back to the sea is unacceptable as it is dangerous for aquatic life. We offer using this brine as grouting fluid for salt composition and obtaining construction material based on it in the form of the structures.
